The Siege of Parkton was Troop 742’s November camping trip
Troop 742’s November camping trip included Scout advancement, catapulting pumpkins, and eating turkey from trashcans.
There was a little frost, a little rain, and a lot of wind but there was much fun and learning when we camped in Parkton, MD.
Thank you to Weber’s Farm in Parkville, MD for supplying the pumpkins! We hope you weren’t expecting them back.
Next month the troop is scheduled to visit Maryland’s capitol city of Annapolis where we will cabin camp and tour the US Naval Academy.
